LP Nak Somdej, Phim
ProkBodhi Med
Wat Rakang, Mid 2490s |
|
|
|
|
The above seen is an unused, beautiful
condition LP Nak Somdej Phim ProkBodhi Med, made and blessed in
around mid 2490s by LP Nak, the late Abbot of Wat Rakang.
Some collectors call Somdej of this mold as Phim Devada ProkBodhi.
Both specifical name are correct.
Phim ProkBodhi Med is called by stressing the physical appearance of
Bodhi leaves which look like cereal seeds, while Phim Devada
ProkBodhi is called by stressing the sitting Buddha posture of the
amulet as "Devada" characteristic.
Please notice some old-version fragments of Somdej Phra Phutdhacharn
(Toh)'s Somdej Wat Rakang (SWR) seen scatteredly on the surface of
both front and reverse sides. The above close-up pix show you
whereupon the scattered old-version SWR fragments appeared.
With old-version SWR fragments on its surface, the Somdej is as a
full single old-version SWR. So why pay a very hard-earned 5-50
millions Baht for an old-version SWR while the very...very...much
cheaper LP Nak Somdej is a smart option and it can absolutely be
used as a substitution to a Somdej Phra PhutDhacharn(Toh)'s old
version SWR.
LP Nak Somdej's properties are broadly covering as of the
old-version SWR, such as life protection, Metta, life & career
progress, and fortune etc.
LP Nak was one of the greatest Gurus of the country since World War
II, contemporarily with many great LPs viz LP Jaad-Wat Bangkrabao,
LP Chong - Wat Natang Nok, LP Kong- Wat Bangkraphom, LP (Y)ie- Wat
Sattaheep, LP Lua-Wat Sao ChaNgok, etc.
LP Nak was invited to bless the two important amulets, one is
Indochine Buddha Chinnaraj mini statue in B.E.2485 and the other the
Phra Leela 25 Buddha Sattawas in B.E.2500.
LP Nak attained highest Dhamma; as widely said in among advanced
Dhamma-practice monks that when he was blessing amulets, his
meditative power was emitting very large bright, cold beam covering
all amulets before him--implying great properties for his amulets on
Metta and Klaew Klaad.
LP Nak passed away in B.E.2514 at the age of 87.
