Pointings 1,2,3,4 on the rough-surfaced Somdej Wat Rakang, you will see the texture look like Chinese peanut cracker.
Professional Techniques:
Rough Texture
Somdej Wat Rakang, Phim Yai, Ok Vee
The above Somdej Wat Rakang (SWR), Phim Ok Vee, are of the rough texture type which can be found only 5 % of all SWR amulets. Such the rough texture looks like Chinese peanut cracker ( Tao Pang or Tao Khong in Teochiew dialect) or Thai sticky sweet made of peanut and poprice ( KraYasart). So it's called Nua Khanom ToobTab when compared its similarity to Chinese peanut cracker, or called Nua Krayasart when compared to such the Thai sweet.

Looking on the amulets surface, the materials, shell lime, honey, and Tang oil were well mixed and homogeneously cemented. The oily look texture are totally dried due to over 130 years of age. What we see on the surface of the SWR amulet under 10X magnified lens comprising white gravel materials of lime compound, ground burnt shell, ground sun-dried rice, ground dried flowers (brown), and ground burnt-incence stick (black) are floating on.

Please notice that no loosely white materials can be seen on the amulet surface because almost all materials are strong type with least granular powder, and all of them were completely flooded by the mixture paste of low viscosity.
