1st Batch Wat Paknam Amulet
Brushed With Transparant Lacquer

Identification examination of the back side still be the same as the front side. We can still see large and small cracks on the texture surface. And please notice the black dust particles in the letter groove. These are old time dust particles--after the amulets were brushed ( actually dipped), they were placed in shade areas. The dust was from the wind blow and catched by sticky lacquer surface that was not yet dry. The dust particles also found in yellow/brown lacquer surface pieces. Not all lacquered pieces catched with dust particles--but many, and the dust particles also help identification.
