LP Boon's Phra Pidta, B.E.2470

Material: Wood
The above wood carved Phra Pidta is of LP Boon, Wat Klang Bang Kaew. It was skilfully made by the old-time artisan and coated with black brown lacquer or "Rak". There are two Khom scripts at the back, one is at the center back, the other one is at the right bottom. The easy-to-identify surface is called in among Thai veteran collectors "Doo Ngai" or " Goi Thoi" in Teochiew. It's a rare-to-find LP Boon's item, and always wanted by professional or high-leveled collectors..
