The statue's surface looks dry and old as it was made nearly 40 years (B.E.2506). The LP's face and chest looks as if two tone colors due to a photo flash effect. On the real item the colors are very harmonious, not so contrast like that. | |

The above LP Parn statue made on a best auspicious day-- Saturday, March 30th,
B.E.2506. Such the day we call "Great Sao Har" because there are 3
simultaneously good omens on that day : (1) the Saturday (2) the 5th day of the waxing
moon period as on Thai lunar calendar (3) the 5th month as on lunar calendar. Once in many
years will have such the good great auspicious time best for making amulets and respecting
objects of all kinds. The LP Parn statues of this batch have been cast at Wat Bangnomkho and blessed by LP Chong of Wat Natangnok, the closest monk friend of LP Parn. LP Chong attained highest Buddhist Dhamma and posses comprehensive miracle mighty, he could reach any far-away destination with a short-time period which could never be done by ordinary people. Please notice at the statue's bottom, there is a later-period extended performance: Three Takruts (blessed roll metal) were embedded, and important Kathas were also inscribed on the plaster base by LP Doo of Wat Sakae, the late Ayuthayan great Guru in B.E.2530. |
