The
bronze alloy for casting the above LP Chong statue melted with a lot of gold which Thai
amuletic term called "Kae Thong" ( Kae= concentrated, much; Thong =
gold). Due to the effect of gold, the golden surface reflected in its grooves and lower areas. Most part of its surface became dark brown which is ideal statue.Thai amuletic term called any dark brown statue "Phew Sam Rit". Phew = surface; Sam Rit = bronze LP Chong reach the highest Dhamma, he could conduct comprehensive miracles. LP Parn called him "Golden Monk" because he was so kind to the poor and needed temples. LP Chong is a top-10 greatest Guru monks. |
