Somdej BangKhunPhrom B.E.2531
Phim KesBuatoom
Topped With Old-version Somdej Fragments
The above Somdej BangKhunPhrom(SBKP), B.E.2531, Phim KesBuatoom, was created by Phrakru BoriharnKhunnawatra, the Abbot of Wat BangKhunPhrom, who also had created the SBKP of B.E.2509 and B.E.2517.

In the year B.E. 2500, the main Chedi in Wat BangKhunPhrom was dug out, about 3,000 Somdej amulets by Somdej Phra Phutdhacharn(Toh) with both good- and broken condition were found. Presently, the price of a complete, old-version Somdej BangKhunPhrom, created in B.E.2412, is over AUD 50,000.

The old-version, broken Somdej amulets were later ground to mix with various SBKP batches of B.E.2509, 2517 as well as 2531.

The above B.E.2531 SBKP Phim KesBuatoom was topped with old- version Somdej fragments. This means that the newly created Somdejs have same properties as of the old version while their costs are so much cheaper.
