The above piece is the LP Sothorn copper medal of B.E.2505 with code on ithe front side. Since B.E.2497, Wat SothornWararam temple created Phra Sothorn medals almost every year with different types and all of them were popular in among people. LP Sothorn is actually a Buddha Statue, but people also call HIM Luang Phor which is the folk word called to any Buddha Statue or highly respective Buddhist monk. LP Sothorn is a most important Buddha Statue of Thailand that people all over country pay extremely high respect due to His uncountable great miraculous events. Many ill people of near-to-die, hopeless condition got well after drinking the LP's herbal medicine--prepared from respecting flower petals collected from the ground before the statue.
