Phra Kaew (The Emerald Buddha) Medal,
B.E.2475
The Phra Kaew medal amulet made by the government in B.E.2475 in memory of 150-year establishment of Bangkok. The medal blessed by KanaCharn or a group of great Gurus led by Somdej PhraPhutdhacharn (Nuam) of Wat Anong. Phra Kaew is a major Buddha image created in the North in around B.E.700. The image has many miraculous events. It was found in ChiangRai in B.E.1977 or nearly 600 years ago, the thunder struck the Jedi to open it off and the Buddha image has been seen inside. Phra Kaew is widely worshipped by Thai people. Anyone who faces sufferings prefered to request for his help. The Buddha image is so efficacious that no wrong doers or sinful persons dare to take an oath before him.
