The
above LP Chong's Phayant(Magic Cloth) is in excellent condition. It's rare to find such
the well-kept Phayant like this. The more important thing is that the Phayant bears the
stamped emblem of Wat NaTang Nok Temple, which is well comfirmed on its origin. It's graded
as the Grand-Prize Phayant by its excellent condition + its very rare-to-find stamped
emblem. In the period before WWII, LP Chong made Takrut chains of both 8 pieces and 16 pieces, amulet medals and bronze mini statues. After WWII, he began making paper Yant Nok Khum( a kind of bird called " Khum" which means protection) with his picture at the center. Some thirty years ago, we would see his paper Yant with wood framing widely hung in houses at SeeKook (the precinct where Wat NaTang Nok located). After making the paper Yant Nok Khum, he began making printed cloth Phayant(Pha= cloth). Some of them were distributed at his temple while so many distributed at other temples where he had helped raising up fund for temple restorations. Most of his Phayants bear no stamped emblem of Wat NaTang Nok temple, only very few that bear the emblem. The introduction text on Phayant (Top
