Secret on Phra Somdej Surface
Authenticity Identification by Natural Approach
A most easy way to identify Phra Somdej is using its natural markings. Due to its high age of more than a hundred years, natural changes on its surface left some useful trace for us. It's easy but a long time secret that never revealed by veteran collectors. One of its natural important features is the shrinkage trace of shallow concave edge. More than 60-70 % Phra Somdejs, both Wat Rakang and BangKhunphrom, carry such feature. Please see above pictures.
